Hot on the heels of our latest charity events we’re very excited that four energetic Nucleus people will be taking part in the Great Scottish Run this weekend to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.
David Ferguson, Stuart Geard, Lynsey Morrison and Paul McAnulty will be stretching their legs on Sunday choosing either the 10k or half marathon run. The Great Scottish Run takes place through the heart of Glasgow and is the biggest running event in Scotland, with over 30,0000 participants taking part last year.
Our brave runners will be hoping raise money towards our charity target of £20,000. Already Nucleus has raised £12k throughout the year by sky diving, baking, and dragon boat racing to name a few. We couldn’t resist the challenge of taking part in the ice bucket challenge for ALS in the summer too.
Join us in wishing them all the best of luck by tweeting @nucleuswrap, and if you’d like to donate to support David please go to his Just Giving page. You can watch the race live on BBC2 HD from 10.30-1.30.
Good luck guys – we expect to see David finish around Monday!
