Real humans of Nucleus

    Meet Jon Gwinnett

Find out what some of our colleagues think about working at Nucleus and being part of an inclusive and dynamic culture. Introducing Jon Gwinnett...

Tell us about you (your role and how long you've worked at Nucleus)

I'm a Product technical manager here at Nucleus. I've worked for Nucleus for over seven years and my role has evolved enormously in that time, but at its core I am still doing the key tasks of providing technical support and guidance to our users and colleagues - on the intricacies of pension legislation and practice.

What do you enjoy most about your role?

The variety, and the people. It's rare that two days are the same, and our vibrant diverse community, internally and externally, means there's always something new to learn and some new perspective to consider. I'm lucky enough to work with some really inspiring and creative people, and it's really satisfying to be able to help them.

Could you tell us something about yourself that your CV doesn't cover?

I was going to say I'm afraid of heights but my colleages have told me that's a boring answer and I should go with my fascination with trains, planes and pretty much anything mechanical.

Which one of our values resonates most with you and why?

Authentic. Nucleus truly is a place where can be, indeed where we thrive by being, true to ourselves and what we believe in.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of joining Nucleus?

Do it! Be prepared to work hard, and never be afraid to speak up for what you believe in.
