Platform release 22

On 30 March, we deployed release 22 (R22), our second release of 2024 ahead of tax year end.

There were important changes made ahead of the LTA abolishment and to ensure compliance in the new tax year.

Platform release 19

Other features of the release include the following

Removal of the ISA top up blocker (UK clients only)

A client will no longer need to submit an updated client declaration if there’s been a break in Isa subscriptions.

What does this mean?

Quicker and easier for existing clients and their advisers to pay into their ISA after a break in subscriptions, saving both time and paperwork.

Client onboarding - welcome letter

When a new client is added, their bank details (obscured for fraud prevention) are included in their welcome letter posted to their home address.

What does this mean?

Enhanced fraud prevention for your clients.

Enhnancement to replaceable withdrawal allowance

For clients who have withdrawn from their flexi ISA to pay for adviser ongoing fees, ad hoc fees, account closure or DFM fees, this withdrawal can now be replaced within the same tax year. Please note initial fees are excluded.

What does this mean?

Clients are given more opportunities to use their full tax-free allowance within the tax year.
