Platform upgrade news

Our new next-gen Nucleus Platform is coming on 9th February 2026

We’re targeting the weekend of 7 and 8 February for the upgrade. Please note, James Hay online will be unavailable over this weekend.  

In the weeks before we upgrade some functionality will be temporarily unavailable. Visit the key dates and actions page to see details of the processes affected and deadlines for when instructions need to be completed. In the interim: 

  • You can speak to our contact centre if you need an illustration for an existing client.  
  • To discuss a new business illustration for the new platform, please speak to your Business Development Manager.  
  • You’ll be able to place new business on the new platform from 9 February.  

What this means for your firm

This intuitive, app-based tech is enabling us to deliver a flexible platform that’s built around the way you work, with a wider range of products and investment options.  

Straight-forward/joined up processes, auto-population of client data and smart search functions - will save you valuable time. While access to management information and a comprehensive suite of client reports will help improve business efficiency.

Our new Nucleus Platform will be launched to James Hay advisers and their clients on Monday 9 February 2026. The rest of our customers across the Nucleus Group will be moved across over time.
